A little bit about where I came from

My journey has been one of continual growth, innovation, and leadership. At my core, I am a fervent advocate for hard work and the belief that persistence pays off. My advice to my younger self, and indeed to anyone starting their path, is not to shy away from the challenges that come with striving for success.

My creativity knows no bounds, a trait that shone brightly during a deployment when I recorded an entire album using just a MacBook Air and a USB microphone. This project wasn't just about music; it was a testament to my ability to innovate and create under any circumstances. Beyond music, my passion extends to video production, where I find joy in crafting stories and sharing experiences.

I pride myself on being highly people-centric, a superpower that combines with my deep technical expertise to solve complex problems. I believe in the power of collaboration and view every individual as a vital asset, capable of leaving a lasting legacy. My approach to leadership and problem-solving is deeply influenced by my understanding of people as multi-dimensional contributors.

Communication is key, and I'm always reachable, preferring the directness and simplicity of a text message for quick and efficient communication.

My life philosophy is guided by wisdom that underscores the value of people as our greatest asset. This perspective has been shaped by impactful experiences, including the most transformative class I've ever taken on crisis intervention and trauma response. These experiences have taught me the importance of personal courage and the strength to speak up for what's right, even against the tide of popular opinion.

I am an avid reader, drawing inspiration and insight from a diverse range of books, from leadership manuals like "The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership" by John Maxwell to the foundational truths found in the Bible.

If the constraints of finances vanished, you'd find me exploring the depths off the coast of Japan, scuba diving and embracing the serenity and mystery of the underwater world. This dream speaks to my love for adventure and discovery, traits that permeate both my personal and professional life.

My professional passion lies in collaboration, working hand-in-hand with teams to achieve collective goals and face challenges together. I hold a deep admiration for founders and startups, inspired by their courage to venture into the unknown and create something truly unique.
